Florida Worker's Compensation Summary
Reports
Why do this search?
To properly manage safety risks, you may want to know
if someone has a pre-existing injury.
Provides detailed claims information. Information can
include: date of claim, employer name and address, claimant's name
(if different at the time of injury) and address at the time the
loss was reported, nature of injury, cause of injury, injury rating,
dollar amount of medical specials and name and address of insurance
carrier.
Important!
The Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA) prohibits employers
from asking questions or obtaining records regarding their
applicant's medical history (including worker's compensation
records) prior to making a conditional offer of employment. Once an
conditional offer of employment has been made, an employer is
permitted to obtain such information and, if it finds that the
applicant is unable to perform his or her essential job duties with
or without reasonable accommodation, can withdraw the conditional
offer, as such action would be job-related and consistent with
business necessity. See
Questions and Answers about the ADA.
Due to restrictions imposed by the
Fair Credit Reporting Act Worker's Compensation records
pre-dating 7 years cannot be reported.
